I’ve been lucky enough to visit quite a few impressive destinations and have named several vacations “dreamy”, but no previous experience had prepared me for the amazingly beautiful mansion, hidden within the gorgeous green sceneries in Costa Brava, Spain.

A group of 20+ (the exact size of the group was unclear nor was it felt at any point of our stay) amazing people who are in no rush to get anywhere, and have nothing on their schedules aside from some good old fashioned R&R: a dip in the pool, a glass of wine, a delicious bite to eat and for those who possess a the proper bravery (it takes guts to take a pause from such fine idling) – a tennis court, dirt bikes and horseback riding. Music playlists to complement the time of day were carefully prepared by hubby, ahead of time, providing us with the perfect soundtrack to gaze at the impressive artwork the property had to offer.
Did I hear you say “decadence”? 😉
One evening, as I was relaxing on one of the sofas with a glass of wine in my hand, “Mambo Italiano” started playing in the background (coincidentally – one of my all time favourite songs) and for a moment there, I felt like I was the star in one of Woody Allen’s more recent flicks. I turned to my guy and said: “There could’t be a more perfect moment, as far as i’m concerned”. And so it was – absolutely prefect.
